Lending a Hand after Sandy

 If you live here like I do, you LOVE this city and the people in it.. Even if you don't live here I know so many of you love this city like your own and are looking for ways to help. After the storm I was at a loss for how to get involved so I compiled a list of helpful links on how to help New York and New Jersey residents who have lost so much after Sandy.

If you live in New York:

Help in the LES (where they are running low on food and general supplies but DO NOT need clothes other than coats)

I'll be collecting food and pet supplies along with the aid of Brooklyn Bark and FIDO for families affected by the storm so they do not need to give up their sweet friends in times of need. You can drop off supplies at the events below or contact me and Ill pick up supplies in the Downtown Brooklyn/Fort Greene/DUMBO areas.

FIDO In Prospect Park & BrooklynBark Dog Walkers in conjunction with the Animal Rescue Fund (ARF) will be collecting pet food for Sandy evacuees.
