A few months ago, Michelle Adams, Editor of Lonny Magazine reached out and asked me if I'd like to be interviewed by the magazine, a few emails later and lots of patience on her end, I finally finished it and am excited to share the final spread! Michelle also decided to by a print of one of my images that now hangs on her BEAUTIFUL bedroom wall pictured below..

Here it is, the launch of our capsule collection for the Aussie surfer babes down under!
What started as an idea, turned into an international, bi-coastal gone Hawaii and back again sea-faring wanderlust journey never to be forgotten.
From late night skypes to Australia and hand-painted vellum films from the Pacific Northwest.....to double americano photo-edits and moodboards from Brooklyn NY, we hopped a plane to Maui.
It was the perfect place to shoot the lookbook, as it was where we met in the water years ago.
We were able to magically capture our capsule collection and make a sweet little 8MM film to document the coast to coast adventure of a summer.

a huge thanks to the girls at Billabong AU, and to Kelsi V from Pandeia for letting us use her
jungle studio for our shoot, to a Miss Jamie Elizabeth Burden for modeling on the fly, to Maui shutterbug Ashley Camper for all the sweet sweet polaroids and B-roll footage, Hair&Makeup byChrissy Swink, and to the countless others who made this whole project a reality.... MAHALOS!

Love is like the Brooklyn Bridge...

It takes two sure footings and a network of ties and stays to support the weight of not each other but also the loads and stresses that pass through their lives.

There will be much tension and compression from the howling winds of the storms through the years of it's existence, but when the skies clear, that complex structure is still suspended in equilibrium for all to see.
