Magic in Snow

I'm not one for the Winter, although I have lived through several here and in Paris, I still can't get used to the piles of clothes, the indoors, and the early sunsets... When others anticipate the first snow fall with excitement I usually sigh as the last days of fall fade to a snowy, wet winter...

As I sit here on the second "snow" day of this NYC winter I've decided to embrace it this year, to forget how cold it is and suck it up and just BUY that hideous puffer coat and get out there and enjoy the snow! There must be something magical about it if SO many people love it so much... Paolo Roversi sure makes it look magical in the above images taken for W magazine in 2010.
